An Evening with
Charles Collier
Senior Philanthropic Advisor for Harvard University with a master’s degree from Harvard Divinity School, Charles Collier will share his insights from 27 years of working with high-net worth families and charitable giving.  A nationally recognized expert on planned giving and family philanthropy, Collier has written widely on the subjects of family wealth and charitable giving, including his most recent book Wealth in Families, and serves on the board of the National Center for Family Philanthropy and is a senior fellow of The Philanthropic Initiative, Inc.

Aspen Glen members Jerry Beinstein and Board member RJ Gallagher will co-host a cocktail reception at Aspen Glen to reach out to nearby residents who have philanthropic interests and want to learn more about Aspen Community Foundation.

Community Forum with the Aspen Institute

Aspen Community Foundation is in the process of developing a day-long community forum with the Aspen Institute to discuss philanthropy and strategic giving at the local, national and global levels. This community forum will take place at the Aspen Institute in late 2007. Spearheading this effort at the Community Foundation are Board members Mike Kaplan, Scott Miller, Marcie Musser, Jay Sandrich and George Stranahan.
